What is the use of a subnet mask?
What is the below output conveying to the user?
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
Basically, why do I need Subnet mask when I have my IP?
